All right guys, today we got a special guest on the podcast. His name is Matt Griner.

He's actually a return guest, but he has not been on the show in a very, very long time. He was

on episode 121 of this podcast. That was way back in February of 2020. I'll remember that year,

but he is the drummer of the band August Burns Red. And guys, if you've listened to my show for

any length of time, that's my intro, outro music. So I talk about that. If you don't listen all

the way to the end, I actually say that. But every single one of our episodes, the intro and outro

music, excuse me, has been from August Burns Red. So we absolutely love that band and they've

just released their 10th full length studio album called Death Below. If you're listening to this

on time, it was just released last Friday. So wherever you get your music, you can download that

album. But they started out as an underground Christian metal band and a small town in Pennsylvania.

And they're now one of the biggest metal bands in the world. And so he is my literal number one

favorite metal drummer alive at the moment. So metal is my favorite kind of music. And he's my

favorite drummer. And he knows that it's not weird. We're buddies. But he's actually been,

been gracious enough to be on this podcast before. But on this particular podcast, I just want to

kind of do a little bit of house cleaning. I'm going to ask in some of the same questions I did

back on episode 121 because the audience is astronomically bigger now than it was back in 2020.

And so if you're not going to go back and listen episode 121, I wanted to make sure you still got

some of the context. But since we interviewed him so long ago, we'll make sure that we have some of
