You can imagine Hollywood everything is really driven by making money. What's with him?

So, John, I don't know what you're expecting to find either alongside your dreidel or next to your Christmas tree,

but I'm going to tell you that the NFL just got a present that would probably dwarf anything that you or I have coming to us this holiday season. No, they closed a deal last week for $27.9 billion in a TV deal with Fox, CBS, and NBC,

which is a 63% increase over what they had been paid previously.

This is a huge deal, and I think it's most important because it shows how important football

is to live television right now.

Well, yeah, it's a TiVo-proof thing. No, most people do not, you know, plan to watch it later.

So you have to show up. And you see, in the case of NBC, football is hugely, hugely important.
