Hey everybody, it's Tony Robbins, welcome to the Masters of Business Season of the Podcast.

As many of you know from more than 42 years of my life, I've been consumed by one obsession.

What makes the difference in the quality of people's lives?

Why are some people so fulfilled and driven to succeed and they thrive at the highest level

and other people are just stressed out all the time and they don't live their potential

or even fail?

One of the areas that I've been most passionate about over those last four decades has been business.

And the reason is because most of us spend more time in our work than we do with our kids.

More time in our work than we do with our husband and wife, boyfriend and girlfriend, with our families.

I mean business really for most people becomes an extension of their own identity.

And so what I found is if you can help someone transform their business,

you don't just transform the business and employees' lives and the success or failure they have

and transform it for good and obviously success.

But to great extent you can transform the life of the owner as well because they have so much emotion,

psychology, identity, time, energy and money tied up in it.

So you can help them to massively grow and expand in a fine way to add more value to other people's lives.

They get addicted to that and they start to grow at every level.

And everyone benefits.

There's a virtuous cycle of how it affects obviously clients and customers, how it affects the employees

and how it affects the owners and their families.
