Despite finishing with a 9-4 record last season, Penn State appeared to be a program with a lot of momentum in terms of recruiting. The Nittany Lions got off to a very good start with their 2020 class and appeared to be a lock to finish in the top-10 of the 247Sports Composite team rankings. However, this week alone they have had a trio of 4-star prospects de-commit, and have fallen to the No. 20 class in the land. This is on the heels of several players transferring from the program in the weeks and months following the 2018 season. Is this just an unlucky stretch for head coach James Franklin and PSU?
