Well, good morning, everybody.

I'm Father Chris Ehler, one of the Miriam priests here

at the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy.

And welcome back to our four and a half year

of explaining the faith.

This is a beautiful opportunity for you to join us.

I remember telling you many times

that when I went to seminary and learned some of the

most incredible things of our faith, I just remember at the time shaking my head and saying,

Lord, if Catholics knew all this stuff that I am learning right now over these years and years

in seminary, I think our faith would be completely on fire. And so that is

our humble effort here from the shrine with the help of Brother Mark, is to take you back to seminary

with us because I said that was the happiest time of my life. And I wish I could go back. Well,

now we are. And I saved all my notes for sharing that with you. So what is our class today? Maryology. We're continuing. Some of my favorite classes were in Maryology, understanding her role. So today we're going to be talking about, where is Mary in the Bible? She's all over.

And the mystics tell us that actually Mary asked God to be downplayed in the Bible.

And this is what the saints tell us, but Mary will be revealed in much greater glory at the end in the triumph of the Immaculate Heart.

She asked to remain very humble in scriptures, but God still put her front and center in some sense. And today we're going to be

talking about her ten virtues that you find in the Bible. All of this is biblical. We're not making

any of this up. So if you have, have god bless non-catholic friends and

they question mary i know i didn't understand her role for years this is a perfect opportunity to see

where she is in the bible and her ten virtues if we them, will get us to heaven.

And so that's why we're here today.
