So this is a little bit off your beaten path, but this is an extremely interesting case.

And being from Ohio, I actually was unaware of a lot of this information in this case itself.

Far as Ohio State goes, I really was shocked at some

of the stuff that I read and some of the stuff I've already heard on your show you know how did

you get involved and how is that you started into this one episode or this series of episodes

yeah and it's you and I were talking right before we started recording about James

Runner, the true crime addict extraordinaire.

And we'll get to him probably later, but when I reached out to him about this case, Bill,

initially he was like, I'm shocked.

I've never heard of this case.

So I think even for people who really move in these circles of true crime and especially in Ohio,

like it's just been surprisingly under the radar for a really long time.

For me, it was never under the radar because my parents would sometimes talk about this case when I was growing up.

And the reason was because
