This is Entertainment writer Jim Hill and my co-host, the amazing Aaron Adams and I,

are recording this week's episode on Wednesday, February 1st, 2022, which is the day that

Black Panther, Wakanda Forever debuted on Disney Plus. In fact, Aaron, you were just mentioning,

you watched that this afternoon? Indeed I did. Again, it's another one of the movies that I'm

really glad that Marvel is doing this. If you go to the special features, I guess it's the

version you get to select. They've got a little subcategory called versions and you can either watch

the regular version or you can watch the IMAX expanded version that pops up, I guess, mostly

during fight scenes and action sequences. But yeah, it's nice to be able to get the IMAX version

at home. You just got to go look in the little sub menu off to the side to make it available to you.

Oh, cool, cool. I will do that. But while you were doing that, you were also paying attention to

what was also going on in the in the media sphere and you wanted to talk about how there were so

many streaming companies and that at some point there's got to be consolidation. It's got to be

mergers and it looks like the first one just happened, right? Yeah. Well, Paramount Plus, I guess,

is going to be smushed together with the showtime streaming. They came up with a very clever name

of Paramount Plus with showtime, I think, was the new moniker for it, which just rolls right off the

tongue. I mean, they could have went with showmount. That could have been very sketchy if you type

that into Google. Maybe paradigm. I don't know. Paratime Plus. Look, the thing is that when

all of these media companies, they saw the land rush of streaming and they all went, hey,

we're huge mega corporations with five media companies under this one umbrella. Let's just put out

five streaming services and we'll all be rolling in money, laughing to the bank, maniacal laugh,
