Marvel demands Captain America put down his shield, and Galactus is here.

Hi, I'm Christian Blatt from Marvel Movie News, and this is Marvel News Daily.

Marvel's chief deputy counsel, Eli Baird, has sent an official season-assist letter to Ben Callos,

a New York City councilman who represents Manhattan's Upper East Side, and is running for Borough President,

after he sent out a fundraising email where he was dressed like Captain America.

I don't know anything about his politics, but I'd have to say that Cap would not approve of using his likeness to further your own agenda.

And remember, Cap is not afraid to take on an elected official.

And today's the day, the Marvel's podcast is here, the new scripted weekly 10 episodes series

on Stitcher Premium, based on Kurt Bucig and Alex Ross's

landmark 1994 comic of the same name,

and a celebration of its 25th anniversary.

Now like that series, this fictional podcast

explores what it's like to be a human

in a world filled with superheroes

and the epic battles that come along with that.

In this case, the arrival of Galactus.

Unlike the comic, though, the cast features Method Man as Ben Yurik.
