It turns out that Ben Mendelssohn is a massive fan of Spider-Man,

and especially Spider-Man staying in the MCU.

In an interview with the Metro, he gave his thoughts on the recent deal

between Sony and Disney regarding everyone's favorite web slinger.

He said, quote,

but S-Man, you can't lose Spider-Man from the Marvel Universe.

He's one of their absolute mother-effing porn stars.

Boy, I could name 30 superheroes

that you could quite comfortably lose

before you start thinking about losing Spider-Man.

He then went on to name a few heroes that the MCU could lose before Spider-Man,

including Hulk and Thor.
