He goes on to tell us all about the difference between writing plays and writing movies, especially when it comes to having control over the project. 0:40.2	We'd like to start with our regular question is, how did you get to where you are today?
0:45.5	Is this something you always knew that you wanted to do or did you find it later?
0:49.6	Let us know.
0:50.6	I wouldn't say something I always knew what I wanted to do.
0:54.0	I always had a love for movies more than anything, I think, from when I was a kid.
0:58.3	But I was a kind of working class kid and I left school very young at 16.
1:02.2	So I never thought a life in movies would ever be an option for me.
1:08.4	But I wanted to write around the end, so I tried my hand at that.
1:13.2	I tried screenplays at the start, and they were terrible.
1:17.0	They were really, really bad.
1:18.4	I thought I better move on.
