So Nicholas, antes de hablar sobre tu nuevo libro, yo ya me he dicho de todos todos, todo que han sido formados en sus videos. Before we talk about your new book, I already told everybody, everything you've written,

all the movies that have been made out of your books, the amount of books you sold. I want to start with your journey because if there's something that we do on the show, is learn and share our experience and the battles and the obstacles and you know part of our teachings on the show when we talk about human development is about not being scared is about handling well rejection is about not giving up is about believing in yourself and you went through all this. So can you share your journey? Sure. You know, I grew up loving to read, although I never imagined myself becoming an author one day. It just seemed too unrealistic. And then when I was 19 years old, I was injured. I was a competitive athlete and I was injured and I ended up writing my first novel at the age of 19 and then a second novel at the age of 22. And neither of those was ever published. I don't even have them anymore. No one will ever read them. A co-wrote a book with a friend when I was 25. And even then I didn't think I could make a career of it. And then when I was 28, I sat down and wrote the notebook. And you know, I had good fortune, of course, with that, with what is officially my first novel. And yet, when I think about it, and I tell that story, I always remember to make sure to add that, yes, it was my first novel. But, you know, I had written two complete unpublished novels and co-written another book before I sat down to write the notebook. So it wasn't as if I sat down one day and typed it out and here I am. It's amazing because I saw that you worked for a pharmaceutical. You were an insurance broker. You did all sorts of things and I think that when one is young, you feel that you are bound to do what you're doing today or that you're bound to do what people told you that you should be doing or whatever you feel that you're good at. And then you put aside your true passion, and especially when you've been writing one novel and then another and not being successful, it is very easy to succumb to that pressure and to just believe, well, maybe I'm not good at this, or maybe I just, you know, daydreaming and I just should give this up, but you didn't. Right. I didn't. And when it came time to the notebook, I was even at that point. I was willing to give myself three chances. And I would think I would have been okay, right? if it never worked out, as long as I knew that I had given it my best effort. And I was fortunate that the notebook was the first one of the new three that I was gonna commit myself to. But yeah, you know, dreams, some dreams die harder más difíciles de otros, creo. Pero después escribió una tercera novela con un amigo, este y luego de un poque que es la que pego y le digo que lo que me llama la atención de esta historia, porque a decir bien difícil ser escritor, no creen cuenta bien, que a pesar de no haber sido publicado las primeras veces y dedicarte a lo que a lo mejor, mucha gente cree que te eres dedicar o a lo que tú crees que es bueno, poniendo a un lado tu jovi tu pasión, pues es bien fácil, sucumbir a la presión, no, pues igual yo no soy bueno para esto y no hubieran salido todas estas películas y todos estos libros que han sido exitos ízimos y que dice el yo yo siempre dije me voy a dar tres chances para para para hacer que esto funcione y en eso cuando saqué de no hook pues ya vean lo que pasó con esa película que fue un exitazo les digo que ha vendido más de 100 millones de libros en todo el mundo y pues es uno de los escritores de novelas de romance pues más importantes en este momento a nivel mundial entonces dice que los sueños no hay que soltar los cuentas bien y esa es lección para todos ustedes.
