Now we're looking at Mars because Mars is within the sites of Elon Musk and the other private space.

What the conditions in Mars are in Mars is critical if we're going to have man presence.

Yes, if the Mars rover is right now inactive, we don't know if it's dead or alive.

We'll have to wait and see. But it gathered and an enormous amount of data for it's more almost a year on Mars.

And the Chinese scientists have released the paper that I spotted and I thought it was really interesting.

They won. They confirmed once again that the radar data from this instrument found no real evidence of water or ice in this part of Mars.

And that wasn't a surprise but it's nice to get it confirmed. This isn't the dry equatorial region so they didn't expect to find any water.

But it's just there are features on the surface that look like they were maybe made by water once in the past.

Yeah, to make sure. So it found there was no water but the other part of this study was really interesting.

They found that the space and weathering effects on Mars are less than those found on the airless moon.

In other words, on the moon, everything gets smoothed out and kind of plowed around over many e-tons from impacts and the solar wind and directly infected from the Sun.

So things are softened and eroded out. But on Mars, which you'd think would have similar same effect, no.

Things are less eroded and that actually fits what we see from Curiosity as well.
