Our relationship with time is so funny as we age.

I feel like it was just yesterday when you would go on summer vacation as a kid in school.

And then when you went back to school in the fall, it was like 10 years had passed.

Everyone's taller.

Everyone dresses different.

You're in a new grade.

You're older.

And now, today, time is nothing.

Like, this summer, I've had so many things that I had to be very patient for.

Like, when I moved here to Texas and I got my Texas driver's license and license plates,

I had to transfer the title from Florida, which is where my previous license plates were from to Texas.

And it took six weeks.

And I remember like blinking my eyes and it's here.

I ordered vanity plates for Texas that say astro for astrology.

Now you can find me down here.

But I remember it said it'll take three to four weeks to process them.

And when I hear things like that, like, that's a month.

That's a long time. I'm like, oh, I'm going to wake up tomorrow and here it'll be. And today is four weeks. And I feel like I just ordered them. It's wild. It's so wild. So when I hear things,

like, oh, it's going to take this long, I'm like, that's nothing. Even if someone says it's going to take this long I'm like that's nothing even if

someone says it's going to take a whole year for you to do this I'm like that's nothing if that flies

so fast and then you wake up and you're like wait hold on I'm 35 now I'm 45 wait whoa Wait, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, I'm 55. I'm celebrating my 55th birthday. When did that happen?
