The American Economy, the Wall Street Journal editorial page characterizes the mood of the American people because of the economy this way.

Worse is the public mood. A quarter or less of Americans think the

country is moving in the right direction and they think Mr. Biden's

presidency has done more harm than good. They think Mr. Biden is too old

to be president and they view Mr. Trump's presidency far more favorably than they do

Mr Biden's. That's the editorial page of the Wall Street Journal in there moving in the

right direction I welcome Liz Peek comments at the hill comments at Fox News much

on Fox Business writing about this for her columns, but moving in the

right direction, we're not doing it.

And therein lies the problem for the presidency, but also more profoundly for the economy.

I understand from an article in the Wall Street Journal this week that the price of cheeseburgers may very well be the largest

contributor to the bad public mood. We've been watching gasoline prices for two, three years and so is the administration using all the

available tools to keep that gas price in the low $3 here in Connecticut.

But at the same time time they lost track on the cheeseburgers which I checked on on Sunday.

Yeah, they're more much more than they used to be. It's $12 now.
