I'm John Batser with Elizabeth Peek, my colleagues, she's a columnist at the Hill,

comest at Fox News, much on Fox Business.

And in New York City, recently Radio City Music Hall, three

presidents, Mr Clinton, Mr Obama and Mr Biden, celebrating Mr Biden's

re-election campaign. At the same time I was struck by they were

open collars, no ties on in the California style. I was stuck I was struck by

revelations about how the Biden campaign is going forward.

There's long been complete from the White House correspondence that there are no major

interviews being given or anywhere near the number that Mr

Obama and Mr Clinton managed in their administrations the first four years.

And yet I learned from CNN, a very helpful service that comes out of CNN in the morning about

the media called reliable sources that Mr Biden's been doing a lot of

interviewing but interviewing for podcasts or radio shows that serve what are called

the urban markets, that would be black and Hispanic and older cities, or a show that Mr Obama was very confident of between two ferns in his

re-election campaign and 12. Mr Biden's been doing similar choice

podcast interviews where he doesn't get asked about Robert Herr,

which is apparently the great anxiety at the White House.

Liz, this is a very effective strategy

if the concern is that you want a young and not necessarily routine

audience of voters. You want the voters who are less likely to turn out unless it's enthusiastic.

I don't know that I can remember a Democrat in quite this fashion.

Mr. Obama didn't have to try very hard to get the youth folk.
