This is CBSI on the world. I'm John Batchel with my good colleague, Elizabeth Peake, who writes

a column for the Hill, column for Fox News, much on Fox Business. Liz's column in these last hours

is about a mystery that I didn't solve until I read her column. There were videos that passed

through, I don't know why I see them, I flipped through

things, of the mayor of Newark at a immigration center and protesting and there was what

should have to say, jostling around a gate and arrest, something like that. I didn't pay attention.

It turns out that was purposeful.

It was street theater, is what we called it back in the 20th century. And it continues, not only for

the mayor of Newark, but for many of the progressive parts of the Democratic Party, which might be

the Democratic Party. Liz, you've solved the mystery

for me. This is about immigration, but for heaven's sakes, doesn't anybody read the polls anymore?

Is that to be ignored? I find it completely baffling that Democrats have decided that they are going to

die on the hill of protecting not just

immigrants that are here illegally, John. And I think that that kind of pressure campaign would be

somewhat understandable, but criminals who are locked up into ICE detention centers because they've committed a crime or been

convicted of a crime, this particular facility in New Jersey, where Democrats last, last night,

gathered to sing and chant in their inimicable way, is harboring, is holding about under, under 200 people, something like

that. Democrat legislators, three congressmen from the region went to supposedly inspect it because

the facility has a capacity of 1,000 people and they were concerned

that there were too many people being held in there. It turns out, I think it's just a couple

of 100, but 75% of whom are convicted felons. That's a pretty big number of criminals.

And those are the people that Democrats increasingly are attaching themselves to
