1:13.7	First, I'll be passing it off to our producer, Eleanor Paul, to read out today's markets updates.
1:15.2	According to Coin Desk indices at 8 a.m. Eastern time, Bitcoin was trading up 3% over the past 24 hours
1:22.3	at $49,877. Bitcoin had tipped over that 50K mark yesterday for the first time since late 2021.
1:32.2	Ether surged 7% over the same time period, sitting at $2,674. The majority of assets in the
1:40.4	CoinDisk 20 index were in the green, with Solana taking the top spot, rising
1:45.1	over 8% on the day.
1:47.6	In traditional markets, the NASDAQ was down slightly in yesterday's trading while the S&P 500
1:52.7	was roughly flat.
1:54.2	And in commodities, the Brent crude oil benchmark was trading at $82.57 a barrel.
