Let's look at some key digital asset takeaways from the weekending September 27th, with data from the 4 PM New York close on Wednesday the 25th.

This week, the crypto sector continued to benefit from a more supportive macro environment.

Since the announcement of a 50 basis point Fed rate cut last week,

Bitcoin has appreciated more than 5%.

Even more supportive for the asset class,

the CoinDesk 20 index, which contains 20 of the top

investable digital assets by market cap, has gained 9%

as altcoins like Aptos, render, and

near protocol have seen double digit returns.

Gaining only 3.3% in September, Ethereum has been a laggard.

Despite this, the yield from staking on the Ethereum protocol, as measured by the composite

ether staking rate, has steadily increased this month from 3% to 3.5%.

Currently, CESR is hovering near rates only slightly below the current U.S. 10-year yield of 3.7%.
