And we started off where he spent most of his life.

My father passed with his penny letters,

Certainly you can hear things like the fact that it's herring gulls, blackback gulls, a big flock of them down there, eating scraps of fish.

And the frontage here looks positively Scandinavian.

There's lots of sort of low wooden buildings.

You know, some of them painted red, some of them painted grey.
