You know, I got to tell you, I think Michael Goodwin got a totally wrong this morning.

We do want a government shutdown, and it's these couple of holdouts that actually proving to the rest of us, most of which are going to be Trump supporters, that the other Republicans are just as bad as the Democrats. They want to spend as much money as they possibly can. Stop spending my money and quit spending money to Ukraine and all these other soapy stuff we spend money on in this country.

The government shuts down. Most people don't even know. No, it's fine to have a shutdown.

We have government shutdowns all the time. It means absolutely nothing. But I think if you read

the Michael Goodwin column, I think what he's saying is the Republicans are off on messaging,

on lining up. If you're going to have this shutdown, use it to message for the right issues
