How did we get stuck with this crazy guy?

With the angry acceptance speech like we've never seen before.

I think there are a lot of voters for whom the trust comes from the actions that you actually take. Many have like, you know, I've understandably been disappointed by politics and the promises

that have been made by many before me. Now my opportunity is actually to deliver it.

Now, uh, that's one of the secrets. He looks good. He's got a nice smile. And he talks very fast. You know, when you talk like this and you keep going in and talk very quickly, people think you must be very smart. Otherwise, how would you talk so fast if you weren't that smart? As opposed to Andrew Cuomo, who talks like this. But he's a great salesman. Can he actually get anything done?

I'm looking forward to showing the power of an example here in New York City, an example

of what it means to not just diagnose the despair in working people's lives as the cost of living

crisis, but to deliver on it. And that's the contrast between myself and President Trump.

You see, you use those kind of words. He was going to diagnose the despair of the cost of living crisis. It just sounds good. But, you know, this is a frightening time for him because this is the first time he's ever going to actually have a job. This is the first job on his resume. I know he was in the legislature, but that assembly, that's like a part-time. it's not a real job. He's in Puerto Rico right now. Believe it or not, every year the Democrats here in New York, the Democrats have some sort of, I don't know what you call it, I guess they would claim it's a conference, a convention. I don't know what the hell it is. It's in Puerto Rico every year. They all go down there for a few days, a whole weekend in Puerto Rico.

They give it some fancy business-like name, but it's really just wasting a lot of money in Puerto Rico.

But what it really is, all the lobbyists fly down there.

All the big lobbyists and donors and they mingle and mix with these politicians and all kinds of

weasily deals are made down there. So Mamdani has flown down there to be a part of all of this.

Now, a lot of business leaders, billionaires, all these CEOs, they've been quietly reaching out to him.
