Well, hey, so Eric Adams, who caused this whole migrant mess, give Kathy Hokel some credit, too.

But it was Adams that started it.

Governor Abbott, Texas, overwhelmed with millions and millions crossing into Texas.

What's the guy supposed to do? So he decides to load him on buses, send him to Washington, D.C.,

get some attention. It's a publicity stunt, but for a good cause to show everybody this problem

and get help. And he starts sending him on bus to Washington, D.C. And then one week, Eric Adams goes on all these national shows, all the Sunday shows.

And he says, we're a sanctuary city, we'll take them.

So Abbott starts sending him to New York.

And does Adams object?

No, he's waiting at the bus station with water to hand out, with towels to hand out, tote bags, he greets the migrants, rents some hotel rooms.

So what's Abbott's supposed to do? Governor Abbott keeps sending them. Next thing you know, he's got 175,000 of them here.

The dumbest thing any mayor's ever done asking for this problem. Adams's been admitting for the last month or two.

It's going to bankrupt us. It's going to destroy the city.

He's the one that asked for it. He's sort of changing his tune now.

He's making some noises today about how maybe you have to change this migrant policy.

I mean, it's, you know, it's a little late, but at least he's maybe seeing the light. He's been up in Albany begging for money from the migrants. So the legislature, why I'm not going to give him any, why should they give them anything? He used to be one of these legislators, but I don't think they're mostly new. I don't know if anybody there remembers him, but he's up in Albany. They call it Tin Cup Day where you go up there and beg.

New York is already carrying the most of the asylum seeker. It's wrong to ask them to do more and it's put our city in precarious position. Today, we're asking the state to increase his commitment.

It's putting the same. It's him. He's the one that asked for them he asked the governor to send them
