Well, it looks like it's Waltz of Minnesota.

The announcement has not been made.

I don't know if they officially confirmed yet, but it's confirmed.

It's Tim Walts of

Minnesota. He'll be Harris's VP choice. It was hard to keep it quiet after Harris's had a

plane there. The campaign had a plane there to pick him up and bring him to her in Philadelphia,

where they'll do the announcement. Now, the fact that the announcements in Philadelphia led a lot of people to think it'd be Shapiro,

but as I pointed out yesterday, check the record.

Usually the announcement is not done in that person's home state.

Usually it's done somewhere else.

So this is an interesting choice.

Tim Waltz, well, there's a lot of trouble with him. A lot of people are frankly stunned.

They think there's probably cheering at Mar-a-Lago over the choice of Tim Waltz. He's a far,

far-left extremist. He's got a long history of stuff that Trump campaign can use against him.

Usually, when you're a Kamala Harris, when you're in that predicament of being considered not very good, not very serious, kind of goofy, not strong on the issues, no real skill in foreign policy or the economy or any of that.

There have been candidates with that problem. They thought, you know, a little young, shaky, not serious. There have been candidates with that problem.

They thought, you know, a little young, shaky, not serious, the caucus had that problem.

George W. Bush had that problem.

And what you do in a case like that is you pick a very senior, very experienced Washington

hand to lend gravitas to your ticket.
