maybe Gavin Newsom behind the scenes is trying to settle the writer's strike. What do you know?

Well, the writer's strike and the actor's strike, mostly.

Well, there's been no progress on either side.

Nothing's happening.

The studios are just not, don't seem interested in ending this thing.

The results, of course, is that it's turning itself a little bit of mayhem.

You know, the Emmy Awards were just moved from the second week of September until we don't

know when, maybe December, January.

Everything is starting to get moved around.

So this past Monday in California, the Democratic governors, you know, had a meeting, like a convention for two days.

And Gavin Newsom, the governor of California, was supposed to oversee one of the events on Monday.

And he didn't show up.

His wife said, his wife came and said, you know, he has back trouble. But what we're told by

insiders is that he was actually trying to sit down with some studio heads and talk some

sensitive to them about how to get this thing going because the impact

on the California economy is just huge.

We're not, we don't really face it here, but we faced it here if you could think of a

parallel with when the pandemic shut down Broadway and you saw it became a ghost town.
