well let's talk to the dean himself ed rollins the greatest political analyst of all he's been in a lot

of white houses run a lot of campaigns and he's with us right now ed rollins how you doing

good morning how are you this morning very good uh hey what do you think the bill uh it's making

progress uh the big beautiful bill what do you uh what do you What do you think we'll get some of the same?

The big beautiful bill is making progress.

And as I said last week, I think it gets through.

It's going to be a little pushing and shoving a little bit in the Senate before it gets all done.

But I think one thing is the president has a tremendous bill as he goes to Congress and get what he wants right now. Not quite as much luck on the courts right now, but the end of the day, he'll get this bill.

This bill is too important.

This is his whole legislative agenda.

And if the taxes are thrown out and basically we went back to the old system,

what the economy would be terrible.

So he's got to get this bill done.

Yeah, it looks like the tax cuts would get all of that.

Now, the only problem is they're not getting the cuts, the waste, fraud, and bloat.

But this is what Congress people do for a living, sell these waste, fraud, bloat things to donors.

So how do you ever fix that? You don't ever fix it if

you're going to continue to spend a lot new programs. Presidents talked about now creating a Star Wars

defense system like the Golden Dome. And, you know, we went through that in the Reagan era. And at the

end of the day, after spending an tremendous amount of money, and obviously it's 40 years ago uh i asked one of the heads one time the star wars program i said can this

actually do something he said it can stop an accidental missile somewhere but it can't it can't

stop a wholesale and since then we now have drones and everything else so you know to spend a new
