Hey, America.

I'm doing well, although I almost fell off my chair this morning when I saw these new numbers

that came out two hours ago on what happened with

the economy in the first quarter of this year.

And as you know, the number was negative 1.4%.

That's terrible.

Terrible news.

I mean, we should be with COVID over, we should have the economy, you know, people finally

get back to work and business is reopening and people going back to restaurants you know we should

have a booming economy right now and we don't we just were you really

surprised with the dumbest administration in the world running things for a

year and a half well I didn't think it would be that bad now here's really the

interesting thing if you look at those numbers and and I've been spending the last couple hours

really parsing through that data, the overall numbers, in nominal terms, in other words,

before you adjust for inflation, they were pretty good. I mean, here's the problem. When

you've got inflation running at 8 to 8.5%. Think of how much the economy has to grow to just

reach that 8% plateau. You see what I'm saying? And so the nominal amount of GDP was up, but it can't
