Well, Michael Goodwin is the finest columnist in America. Pulitzer Prize winner. You can read him every Sunday and every Wednesday in the New York Post. Great column yesterday. A wake-up call to save New York, and he's with us now. Michael Goodwin. How you doing? Good morning, Mark. Thank you. Hey, Alvin Bragg, every soon, well, he backed off, all he did was say he'll increase the charges

to felony level, but he didn't back off the part about no prison sentences. That's the problem.

0:26.4

What do we do about that? Yeah, look, I think this was a baby step by Alvin Bragg to try to get

ahead of the mob that's forming to take away his job. But nonetheless, I think it was a sign,

1:51.9

So the defund the police movement was so far outrageous, but it wasn't the only thing.

1:59.6

And so Biden can say, I was never for defunding the police.

2:03.6

That's true. But you were never for cracking down on violence either. You have never said anything

2:10.8

about the victims of the violence that have taken place on your watch, you know, across the country.

2:17.4

Thousands of people have been murdered

2:19.7

last year and in 2020 because the police were handcuffed. And you just look at the statistics.

2:27.9

I mean, a number of cities set homicide records last year. And that was on top of records in 2020. So the Democratic Party

2:39.1

has a lot of catching up to do. Nonetheless, I'm happy, I think it's important to cite any progress
