Good morning, Mark. Thank you.

Excellent column yesterday. Donald Trump needs a new tune. Time to move on from old grievances.

But you know him. He's not going to move on from this.

I'm afraid you're right, but I think he should, and not just for any particular reason

other than the election. I just think it's a dead end politically that to be constantly

harping about the 2020 election being stolen. I think it's a it's one of those things that is a

roadblock for a lot of people who just don't want to revisit all that. I mean, and frankly, I have to say too,

Mark, that the events of January 6th, I think, are part of that. And so, in effect, I think,

when the president says the election was stolen, part of that is also a justification for January 6th.

And I just think that's not going to fly with a lot of people.

There's no way to justify what happened that day.

I don't have a problem with a rally.

I don't have a problem with a rally i don't have a problem with a

protest

but there's no way to justify what happened when when people were you know broke

glass went into the capital

fought with cops

not everybody did that

but enough people did

that it remains a stain and that stain will be forever linked to
