Of course, you know him for years and years on television, radio, and he's with us right now.

He's in Florida now. Warner Wolf, how you doing?

Okay, Mark.

Now, wait a minute. I thought this was the Mark Simone Steve Allen show.

Oh, yeah.

That's a long time ago, and you were a regular on that show.

Well, here's the deal with this debate tonight.

Now, the problem is it's at 9 o'clock.

That's like the middle of the night in Florida.

Will anybody there be able to stay up that late?

That's right.

Well, they'll probably watch it in bed.

This will break the record for bed viewing, I think.

But here's the deal.

Now, if you're a boxing fan, you know one of the most important things occurs before the fight. Each boxer sends in

his trainer to the opponent's dressing room. They do? And number one, he looks for the gloves. He

checks the gloves, which is very important to make sure there's, you know, no plaster

of Paris or make sure the gloves are perfect, and there's no messing around.

That's a very important thing.

So I'm using the same analogy for the debate.
