Hey, the world we're talking about.

Would you have ever become a judge if you knew you were going to come into a world of no bail, no jail,

or even you see the way the Supreme

Court is treated nowadays? It's just, what happened?

Well, I probably would have become a judge, but I would have been banging my head against the

wall. I mean, I sat in an era where judges had vast discretion on bail. You look at the defendant, you look at the allegations against him,

you look at his criminal history, you look at his connections to the community.

Judges can't, before you fix bail, judges can't do that today.

I don't know the numbers, but it seems like half the crimes in the city are perpetrated,

but people that were locked up in the previous week for 24 hours and then released on no

bail where the judges were frustrated.

In terms of the Supreme Court, well, this release of Sam Alito, Justice Alito's draft opinion, was horrific.

We still don't know who did it, Mark, and this is a month and a half ago, that it was released.
