Restaurants are all packed. Office occupancy is up like over 50%. Are we back?

Well, yeah, we're back. Don't believe that 50%. It's 60 plus percent. And yeah, everything is packed.

Every damn restaurant I go to, hoping for a nice, quiet meal.

It's a, it's a scene.

I was at a couple nights ago, I was at 425.

That's the name of the new Jean-George von Gericton restaurant at 425 Park Avenue, which is

an office, a new office building.

And I got to tell you, I think I got there at 7 o'clock, it was completely packed and

remained that way, and they were turning tables when I left, two and a half hours later.

It's just awesome.

I was at Monterey last night with my wife on East 50th Street.

Same thing.

They're loud, and they're doing very well, most of them.

Hey, also, luxury stores are opening all over the place. Prada's open in a big new

store. You wrote about Ferrari opening a big, all these big retailers wouldn't open if they

didn't think New York was okay. Yeah, it's a remarkable thing. All the luxury brands,

especially from Europe, are popping up all over the place with new stores.

The Ferrari store, which I wrote about this past week, that's down in Soho on Prince Street.
