Thanks for having me. What a tumultuous week. The government is still shut down. It's unbelievable. I thought this would last a couple days. It's been, you know, several weeks now. It's causing more and more disruption. I don't know if you've been traveling at all, but there's a, you know, a lot of delays at the airports and so on. So we've got to get this thing settled. But Republicans cannot cave in here. I mean, we're trying to slice just a little bit of the cost of our government and the Democrats won't even allow a two cent saving out of every dollar that we're spending. Two cents out of every dollar. It's unbelievable. So if you listen to Chuck Schumer, it's health care premiums, everybody's going to die. What is the truth about this fight with the health care? Well, I think the real villain here, I mean, this is a teachable lesson for all of us that, remember, it was 15 years ago that we passed Obamacare. In fact, I was just looking on Fox News, and they were just having up,

they showed a, you know, a clip of Obama signing the Obamacare law.

By the way, do you remember, Mark, what the name of the Obamacare law was?

The Affordable Care Act.

Yeah, I mean, how ironic, isn't that?

I mean, all this happened since we passed the, quote, affordable care act is that health care gets more and more and more expensive.

The report the other day that the average family is now paying $30,000 a year on health insurance because it's just so expensive now and by the

way some of that is employed paid by their employers but it's it's a giant it's a giant tax on the

american economy by the way the insurance companies are one of the villains here they're in on this

they're all for expanding obamacare subsidies because the money goes right into their

pockets. But what they're basically saying is we want to make sure that people are not even

eligible for Medicare and Medicaid get the benefits. Because, you know, we're so rich with cash

in Washington, we can be passing around free money. It's really quite outrageous. And if the Republicans cave in here, we might as well just say, okay, we're going to run $2 trillion debt efforts from now until forever. Yeah. Let me ask you something. You know, they announced the tariffs. Everybody says, that's going to crash the whole market. They announce shutdown. It's going to crash the whole market. Russian sanctions are going to crash the whole market. Market is fine. It's setting new records all the time. Why is that? It is unbelievable.

By the way, just to give you some context here, you know, the 40, I'll see,

about 45 years ago that Ronald Reagan was elected president. Do you know what the Dow Jones Industrial Average was back then, Mer?

6,000.

Not even close, my friend.

It was 1,000.
