Look, I was surprised the number is as low as it is because the two things that have been

strong for the economy for the last few months have been obviously jobs because the jobs are out

there and consumer spending i mean every time i right now i'm in dallas texas i flew into

dallas last night i mean every seat was taken every all the flights i take everybody's you know

flying everywhere the restaurants are full people are spending a lot of money uh so the consumers

have been spending the problem is they're running out of that free money.

That's the problem, Mark.

Credit card is now, that is now over a trillion dollars, 20% interest rate on that, by the way, if you don't pay it back.

And I think that, you know, and I hope I'm wrong about this, but I think people are soon going to start running out of that free money that, the Biden passed out to everybody in 2020.

Hey, but this insane spending, a trillion, four trillion, eight trillion, just three money,

has that ever been done anywhere in history to this extent?

Good question. I mean, I can't think of it.

Let me put it like this. You know, if you look throughout, probably it has, but you know,

you look at great civilizations throughout the, you know, millennium. And the great civilizations

have generally been destroyed from within, not from without, because they run up massive amounts

of debts and they bankrupt themselves.
