is it, is it racist? Some people use the term, reverse racism, that kind of thing. The question I

always ask, which I feel very lonely when I ask this question is, does it work? You know, look,

I know we have some cultural issues in this country and all of that, but only a fool would say we don't have educational

opportunity gaps in this country. That's the whole point of school vouchers and the whole

private school thing. I mean, we all agree that not every kid in this country has an equal

opportunity, you know, a path to getting a decent education. So here are the questions that are

going on in this case right now.

They're basically, we know that these universities for years have been trying very, very desperately

to boost black and Latino students in the colleges and a lot of good things about that.

But that's not what these cases are about. These cases specifically are about what these schools

do to cap Asian American students,

the number of Asian American students coming into the schools so they can admit not more blacks

and Latinos because that's another program, but so they can admit more Caucasian white kids.

That's what this is about. And these universities and other groups who are trying to defend
