Liz Peek, how you doing?

Well, I'd be happier if the Republicans had a little bit better night, to be honest, Mark.

Very disappointing to me, and I must say mystifying.

You know, first of all, I think we're going to hear a lot about the polls being really wrong.

And by the way, not just right-leaning polls that were forecasting,

you know, big wins for the GOP, but Democrat internal polling showing that they had misread the voters.

They were talking about the wrong things. And yet, many Democrat candidates like John Federman,

who I really thought was a horrible candidate, did very well.

So, you know, I think we're all going to spend a while trying to assess really what went wrong here.

Well, you think they were really that wrong or the last minute scrambling with Clinton and Obama and Biden flying into rescue?

Maybe that worked and that was it.

That could have had an impact here in New York because, you know, your listeners have a

different view maybe, but I thought Kathy Hockel ran a horrible campaign, refusing to debate,

not really addressing the issues, showing not much energy, frankly.

And as you say, it was sort of a last-minute scramble that kind of even allowed her to talk about some of the things like crime that Lee Zeldon had made such an issue of.

So, you know, kudos to the Democrats for bringing in the relief pictures.
