Early in the season, you had that moment where you kind of push Jaylin Jason to become

better playmakers.

And then in January, you had a moment where you had just gotten back from injury.

You're telling everybody you love them in Washington there.

And, you know, it seems like you just have these, you know, different kinds of leadership tactics that you've tried not only this year, but throughout your career. Did you have to kind of try different things with this group to see what works and what doesn't as a leader? No, it's just being me. Everything, you know, when I told those guys I love him, I'm in it. You know what I mean? We all been through some some things individually. Al, Jalen,

a couple of those guys that's been here with me. You know, my mom passed. They flew all the way to Dallas to the funeral. So it was, that was, that was for real. You know, it wasn't no tactic. It was nothing. That was just me being who I am and it was being true. You know, we have a special bond outside of basketball.

And, you know, to be able to go to war with those guys makes that bond even stronger.

So, but, you know, me just being me and helping my teammates in any way I can, you know, I know what it feels like to be going through something individually, just be keeping it in or, you know, struggling with it. So, you know, I just wanted to let them know, you know, we can express it here. We can talk about it, whatever we need, man. We're brothers and that's what it is. So whatever I can do to help my teammates, I'm going to do it. And if that's, you know, talking to him, sitting down, you know, if that's chewing them out or getting on them for something that, you know, they know we all know that they shouldn't or should do and vice versa with me.

And I think that's what makes our bond.
