0:26.5	Focus on the family is launching auditions across America
0:29.2	to find the next Adventures in Odyssey voice.
0:31.8	And if all this sounds very familiar, you're right.
0:34.8	It's the Get in the Show contest 2017 edition.
0:38.0	Fans may remember that in 2012, listeners from all over the country sent us their video auditions.
0:43.6	We got more than 5,000 entries, and it all culminated with a big event here in Colorado Springs.
0:49.4	Then our winner, Shona Kennedy, made her debut as Jules Kendall in the episode Life Expectancy.
0:54.5	This time around, the finale event is August 12th at Focus Headquarters,
0:58.1	and the grand prize is a trip for forward to the Bahamas on Focus on the Family's 40th
1:02.9	anniversary cruise.
1:04.1	That in itself is an amazing prize, but there's more.
1:07.7	Indeed there is.
1:08.5	Not only will the winner be on the cruise,
1:10.8	he or she will also perform live with the Adventures in Odyssey actors during the 30th birthday live show.
1:16.4	We'll start accepting auditions on June 1st of this year,
1:19.6	and we'll have a few podcasts between now and then to really launch this contest in style.
