Summary
I travelled to Paris to talk to the people who are handling tourism this summer. The 33rd modern Olympiad opens in the French capital on 26 July 2024, closing on 11 August. While accommodation rates have surged ahead of the Games, in this exclusive interview, tourism boss Corinne Menegaux said: “We expect an occupation rate between 60 and 70 per cent.” So you can expect some bargains if you wait patiently.

| 1:20.8 | better hospitality, if we can, ever better. |
| 1:24.2 | And everything about the cycling lanes, |
| 1:27.1 | the sand, which you can |
| 1:29.7 | swim in after the games. Can we talk about during the games itself? I would say transportation |
| 1:35.6 | will be a challenge, but most, not globally, because it's not a problem of having all the |
| 1:41.9 | people going everywhere, but it's more probably |
| 1:45.5 | a way of dealing with the peak attendance for some competitions, for example, because everyone |
| 1:52.5 | is going to one place at one moment, but for the other and the global territory, not so |
