This week, however, it won't be an article we're discussing but a whole book, as the one and

only Phil Hay, Leeds correspondent for the Athletic, joins us to discuss

his new book, and it was beautiful, Marcello Bielsa and the Rebirth of Leeds United.

Always fascinating to talk about Bielsa and Leeds and the impact he's had there

absolutely incredible in such a short space of time and there's nobody better

to hear about it all from than Phil Hay. But before we bring Phil Inflow,

let's talk about football in general and I don't know if you

watched it.

Everton looked very good in the second half last night, just in time for their trip

to Villa Park on Saturday night.

Unbelievable goals and just a really high tempo performance.

Not always the kind of performance that you associate with Benitezides.

Yeah, no I thought I thought they were that shockingly good. Yeah that Andros Townsend goal was unbelievable. He always has what one of those a season so he's used it up maybe a bit too early but just really really good and I think it's it's hopeful for for Everton fans going forward I mean

last season obviously was a bit of a false dawn under Anchelori and it kind of ended in

tears but they're so desperate to just have a team that can be consistent across the whole season.

So, you know, I've got some friends at Everton fans and I'm hopeful that, you know, this could be their year to get some joy

that doesn't just last a couple of months.

Yeah, I think about all the money they've spent over the last few seasons, especially on

wingers and forward players and then it turns out actually all you needed to do was get Andro's
