Join as always my co-host, Nick Flado and let that boy cook. Nick Falado went to Twitter last night, post a little clip from our defensive pod breakdown, which, by the way, is sub a thousand views. Very disappointing, but isn't that so disappointing?

Because the clips from that show are going around Instagram and they're going around Twitter right now. And then I go to YouTube, but it's like sub 1,000. Click the page. You see the rant. Click the page. It was the Nick at his finest, just getting into it. And I think Sal, uh, who is no longer a podcast. I don't know if that's even his Twitter name anymore, but has the one, uh, he's a giant pod, great pod for draft content. They've been doing, they've been grinding draft stuff out. I'm not ready for it yet, but they have been said this is the most worked up I've ever seen Nick since he started this show. And I think that was the most worked up you ever were. And I think, you know, the conversation got extended because Carl Banks, shout out Carl Banks, legend of New York Giants. And big fan of ours in the show. He watches the show. I've seen him in the comments. And he lets me know that. We have DM conversations tweeted about it. And no disrespect meant to Carl at all because he has his opinion. We have ours. I think at my interpretation

of it, Nick, and Nick's putting it up here, is that Carl and us are Carl and you in this

situation, but I agree with you, are kind of arguing two different points here. We're not disagreeing

along in the sense of more. We're just arguing two different

things. We're not blaming, and I want to make this clear. I think our listeners know this.

We weren't blaming Shane Bowen for the Giants losing to the folk to the Saints. We're blaming

Shane Bowen for not maximizing the talent that he is to work with as a whole, not specifically

in the Saints game, though, also in the Saints game where as I counter to Carl this morning, Nick, because he, you know, he put up this post and as in my rebuttal will be this, one of my main points was the Saints converted 50% of their third downs.

The Saints were able to throw for 225 yards passing.

The Saints were able to move the ball and keep the clock moving,

keep the Giants offense on the field, off the field,

and give us fewer offensive possessions because they found solutions on those third downs.

So while, yes, from a point standpoint, the Giants didn't give up that many of the Saints,

it's not about that.

It's about what we believe, and I believe, strongly, was a big talent deficiency. The Giants were much more talented defense than the Saints' offense. Spencer Rattler had not been able to do that. And yet, they were able to keep the chains moving. And that's something I think the Giants could have avoided and would have given the Giants a better chance to win the game. So in that specific case, yes, but I think overall, it's more so we're arguing the overall point about chain bow and limiting this defense.

He's been nothing but gracious towards this podcast and I have a lot of respect for Carl. I sent this to Carl afterwards if those on YouTube want to check it out and you nailed it

Dan, you're spot on. It's not that, it's not that the Giants defense, they're culpable in this

loss. It's overall, it's much more broad than that. It's Shane Bowen is an unimaginative

defensive coordinator. He's just not all that creative. And this is something we've known since basically the Giants hired this guy.

This is something that all of the positive talk about him being able to shut down the run and all that.
