Hi everyone, this is John Mandrola from the Heart.org Medscape Cardiology,

and this is this week in Cardiology for March 6, 2020.

This week, coronavirus, left-main coronary disease, and cascades.

There are weeks when other medical stories dwarf cardiology news, and this is one of them.

So first off, coronavirus or COVID-19. On Wednesday I saw a tweet that went viral.

It was from Clay Travis who tweeted a 47 second clip of the Liverpool football coach named

Yergen Klop and he was asked what he thought about the coronavirus.

You may wonder why such a thing went viral or why would it lead a cardiology

podcast. It was Klop's answer. Terce Stern and decidedly German.

Quote, what I really don't like in life is that in a very serious thing,

a football manager's opinion is important.

I don't understand it.

If I asked you, you are in exactly the same role as I am.

So it is not important what famous people say.
