I want to start off today's micro show with a simple idea, and that is the idea that you cannot stand out and fit in at the same time.

Now, if you've never made anything or if you only make what you're comfortable making, I don't care what it is,

whether it's writing a play or building a business. If you only make those things,

but you never share what you're making, you're hiding. And this tends to compound on itself,

right? Like once you start hiding, then you stop growing

and once you stop growing, well, we know where that goes. But part of you goes to sleep.

Even as I personally reached what I thought was my creative zenith a few years ago, it took an avalanche,

me almost dying to reveal that I was aware that

inside of me somewhere was a capacity, an even deeper capacity and level of authenticity that I

wanted to reach, that I wanted to strive for. And I meet so many people day to day who get stuck at this point without even
