Welcome and good evening to the night's midweek Bible study here at Calvite Chapel,

Kanai'oi. And tonight we're going to continue our study on the topic of man's inability

to govern. And this, of course, will be part two and prayerfully. We will look into the church and the biblical position that guides the actions and or should guide the actions of the church, even within a failed governmental system. And I'm speaking externally, that is.

We're also going to look at our homes and what each of us should be doing as Christians

and the role that we should be playing as we all have to navigate

through this maze of madness that we all face today. And then I want to talk about what I see

as the divine purpose in all of this.

And I truly believe that it reveals God's mercy and grace.

I believe it really does.

And then quickly, just briefly look at the soon flawless governor when he comes

and how he will rule. Everybody's looking forward to that. Now, we do not have time to do a full recap of what we discussed last week.

And for real, how fast things are changing from day to day, some of what we discussed last week has already morphed into

something worse. It's nearly impossible to keep up. But that is to be expected because things will unfortunately get worse.

I'm sorry to say that, but they will.

I recognize that this is not popular and this is not what we want to hear.

But according to the Word of God, it is what it is. Are you following me? And you know what? As Christians, we really need to come to grips with this. We have to face this fact. We need to understand

that that's the way it is in order for us to be effective witnesses to the God that we

claim we serve. It doesn't feel good, but it's the truth.

And trust me, there can still be a revival, so to speak, meaning the strengthening of a church,

perhaps local churches, maybe not the church as a whole. But as a nation and the

land that we live in, I just don't see it. When it comes to Christianity, America, we could have been or could still be in some

degree considered one of the last strongholds, the last, of having some type of Christian values within our culture.
