Our cases this week are about two young women. 118, 119 both killed, but in one case the killer gets

12 years in prison and in the other the killer will get anywhere between 30 years to life.

In Florida, wealthy older man says that he and his 18 year old girlfriend were just playing around

with the gun and it accidentally went off killing her. Is it justice that he just gets 12 years

in prison? Did the system give him a pass because he was allegedly so high at the time?

It's a case that we've been following for two years here on the podcast, but first a troubling

case out of Alaska where the murder of an 18 year old girl with special needs was orchestrated

by a catfisher who posed as a millionaire online after exchanging messages requesting sexually

explicit photos and videos of miners. The man reportedly offered the accused killer $9 million

for the rape and murder of the victim. Now one of the girls murderers has finally pleaded guilty

to first degree murder. We are recording this on Wednesday, February 22nd of 2023. Our guest
