Thanks for having me on. What do the numbers tell us about male attrition from

elementary school teaching? When I was born in 1970, over 30% of teachers in K through 6 were males.

I'm a child of the 80s, so I would say that I had three male teachers under the age of sixth grade.

Today that number is 11%. So there's been a mass exodus of men
