Summary

Ever wonder what it was like making one of the biggest true crime documentaries of the last several years? Shannon Evangelista and Tim McConville are showrunners on shows like "The Curious Case of Natalia Grace," and the spinoff series "The Curious Case of..." On this episode, the true crime experts join Daryn Carp for an interview about how the shows came together, what it's like interviewing these subjects, and much more.

What sets these showrunners apart from other true crime experts is Shannon’s extensive legal background and real true crime experience, having served as a former Federal Criminal Defense Attorney and a prosecutor in both California and New York. With her deep knowledge of the law, she brings a unique perspective to true crime documentaries, combining legal insight with creative storytelling.  She has been closely following these cases for years and has spent over four years working on her current series, providing a layered view of the stories from both a legal and creative standpoint.
