No, I'm sorry. I'm Josh Gondelman, and this is Make My Day, a comedy game show.

The world is a stressful place to be, so every week we try to make it a little nicer by playing one game with one guest who is guaranteed to be the grand prize winner because they're the only contestant.

I will assign points throughout the gameplay based on how much my guest cheers me up,

and the winner gets a $100 donation to the aid cause or charity of their choice.

At the end, my contestant and I each give a pep talk to a person or group that we think deserves it,

because, you know, it's not all about me here. It's just mostly about me. My guest today is an actor and comedian who's been seen in high maintenance on HBO

and won a Drama Desk Award for starring in the Pulitzer Prize winning musical A Strange Loop,

which you can listen to the amazing cast recording of wherever you listen to music.

Hi, Josh. Hello. It's so nice to see you. I realize, like, seeing your face on this call,

I haven't seen you in, like, over six months. It's been ages. It's been so long. How are you holding

up? I got very nervous just thinking about being on a game show. Yeah?

I'm like, yeah, I just end up being very competitive.

I will tell you this.
