So thank you for joining us again for this final session of the retreat on Mahavakya

Viveka, the fifth chapter of the Panchadashi. In this chapter, Vidyarindya Swami,

the very compact chapter, he actually presents the result of the analysis of the Mahavakyas.

How is the analysis done?

We saw yesterday.

I gave an outline of the technical details of the analysis.

He simply gives the result of each of the Mahavakias. For the four Mahavakias, Vediyar Nya Swami has given

eight verses, two verses for each Mahavakia. So we have seen two in the last three classes. We have seen Pragyana

Brajana Brahmha from the Aetheya Upanishad, Rigveda Mahavakya. Then we have seen Aham Brahmasmi from the

Bryadhanak Upanishad, the Yajurveda Mahavakia. So now we will see the other two.

Before that, let us go through some questions very quickly.

I have one question which was sent to me.

Let me just read out the question. The following is my understanding of the verse,

Sayyedam Devata Ikshata in Chandoggy Opanishad, which is in the sixth chapter.
