editor-in-chief of the Atlantic and for our last episode of 2017 I'm talking with Maggie Haberman of the

New York Times a great White House correspondent one of the greatest of her

generation we're going to be talking about a whole bunch of things including

and especially Donald Trump's character, his origins, Maggie's fear of flying,

we're talking about a whole bunch of things, including Glenn Thrush, her writing partner, who was

suspended by the New York Times recently.

Right after we taped this episode, the Times announced that he'd be coming back to work in January, although not on the White House beat.

And we're meeting on the day that it seems as if Donald Trump is going to get his biggest legislative victory so far on the tax package.

But I want to just do certain housekeeping items.
