Mostly what carried me when I first started was that contract I got with

seals. When I got that contract that really brought my... And was that a primitive skills teacher contract yeah I was I was training

East Coast SEALs in you know basically the kind of school that we went to when we were going to Vietnam.

Gotcha.

Whenever you take time to build something like a bow or a club or like that or a spear or even for us or slingshot.

So we, you know, as you build it, you finish it and you shoot it a little bit,

then you want to kind of like tweak it.

Right.

And you know, you want to add what do you call the bells and whistles to it.

And so you just keep adding to it and after a while, you know, your slingshot becomes a work of art.

It's not just a tool for shooting.

Making it right. There's one right way and a thousand wrong ways and if

you created or cut and carved or shape just, it won't work.

Right.

But how did you get on a slingshot deal in the first place?

That takes me all the way back to when I was a little kid.

You know, I was about eight years old, my dad took us one morning and he goes,

we're going to get you guys some slingshots, some real slingshots.

And I thought, wow, that sounds cool, you know.
